Inspired by “Little Red Corvette”, Stevie Nicks recorded the demo for “Stand Bank” in her honeymoon suite. Prince played synthesizer on the song, although uncredited on the album.

The Glamorous Life reached number seven on the U.S. pop charts and number one on the U.S. dance charts. It also earned two Grammy nominations and three MTV Award nominations.
